Absoluteness

on a canvas as bright as a sun-drenched fruit,
Surah Al-Fatiha is written in black ink in Diwani script,
with each stroke the letters flow in loops and swirls,
each line and curve a symbol of deep emotion,
the orange canvas a symbol of light and hope,
the black writing a reminder of those who cope,
with the trials and travails of this life.
